PURPOSE: A negative electrode material is provided to provide a negative electrode for a secondary battery without degrading efficiency and capacity even while having an electrode density of 1.8 g/cc or more. CONSTITUTION: A negative electrode material comprises a graphite mixture which satisfies formula 1: Y = aln(x) + b. In chemical formula 1, 0.28<a<0.4, 1.8<b<2.1, x is a press pressure(ton/cm^2), Y is an apparent density(g/cc) of a molded product which is manufactured by pressing the graphene mixture. The graphite mixture comprises graphite (A) of which breaking strength is 5-20 MPa and graphite (B) of which breaking strength is 20-60 MPa. The graphite (B) is 5-35 parts by weight based on 100.0 parts by weight of the while graphite mixture. |
