PURPOSE: A method for controlling the heating of an electric vehicle is provided to efficiently manage and utilize heat generated by electric parts mounted in the electric vehicle and to improve heating efficiency by properly maintaining temperature of the part of the electric vehicle and rapidly heating in an initial stage. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the heating of an electric vehicle comprises; a step comparing the temperature of a battery with indoor temperature when the indoor temperature is lower than set temperature, a step for operating a first heating system when the battery temperature is higher than the indoor temperature, a step for controlling the temperature of cooling water in a heater core inlet side when the battery temperature is lower than the indoor temperature, a step for operating a second heating system when the temperature of the cooling water in the heater core inlet side is higher than the indoor temperature.
