PURPOSE: A fastening clip is provided to prevent a holding member rotating with a screw when the screw is fastened in order to draw an expansion member inside the holding member. CONSTITUTION: A fastening clip(10) comprises a holding member(12) and an expansion member(14). The holding member is formed to be inserted into an opening of a carrier in an insertion direction(R). The holding member comprises a plurality of expansion arms(28) joined to a rear side of the opening of the carrier. The expansion member is inserted into a recess(19) of the holding member in a direction opposite to the insertion direction, thereby being transferred from an initial position to an expansion position. The holding member and the expansion member are connected to be integrated at a pre-assembling position by a connection web(16). The connection web constitutes rupture points set in advance and is arranged in a front end portion of the holding member and a rear end portion of the expansion member in the insertion direction.
