An optical pressure sensor interrogation system (40) is provided. The system includes a light source (44) for providing an optical signal (46) to an optical pressure sensor (42) and an optical coupler (54) for receiving a reflected signal (50) from the optical pressure sensor (42). The optical coupler (54) splits the reflected signal (50) and provides a first portion (56) of the reflected signal (50) to a first optical detector (60).
