PURPOSE: A seamless metal sleeve for a fixer is provided to improve the durability against frictional stress caused by the rotational motion of an inner structure of a heat source body. CONSTITUTION: A seamless metal sleeve for a fixer comprises an immersed phosphorus-nickel film layer and a thin metal film layer. The immersed phosphorus-nickel film layer is formed by electroless immersion phosphorus-nickel plating. The thin metal film layer is formed on the immersed phosphorus-nickel film layer by electroplating. |
