PURPOSE: A method for capturing a light filed shape by using a multi-view camera and a device thereof are provided to easily obtain a light filed 3D shape from images obtained from matched cameras by matching different views of plural cameras through the position selection of the cameras. CONSTITUTION: A camera control unit(110) selects positions of plural color cameras or depth cameras. The camera control unit matches different views of the depth cameras or the color cameras. A shape obtaining unit(120) obtains images from the depth cameras or the color cameras. The shape obtaining unit obtains shape information from the obtained images.
