The test device has a lancet (14) having a lancing component (16) for producing a prick in the skin, and a protection element (20) shielding the lancet in the region of the lancing component. The lancet has a collection structure (18) for collecting bodily fluid from the prick in the skin. The protection element comprises a protective film (26) for covering the collection structure and a holding body (28) for holding the protective film to the lancet.
