The bollard assembly 10 comprises a sleeve 14 for setting into the ground and a bollard 12 which engages into the sleeve. The bollard includes two portions 24, 26 which extend upwardly from the ground, the portions connected such that the central longitudinal axes of the portions form at least an acute angle in the range 35 and 55 degrees. The sleeve may comprise a tube 16 and a plate member 18 disposed at the end of the tube for resting on the surface of the ground. The plate member may be aperture to receive bolts which are covered with bolt shields. An eyelet may be located near the end of the tube and a stop plate may include an aperture for the eyelet. In use the bollard may be secured with a padlock going through the eyelet 20. The plate may be rectangular and be approximately 200mm by 300 mm. The tube may extend from the centre of the plate. |
