PURPOSE: A polarizer with excellent durability and orientation, a polarizing plate and a polarizer manufacturing method are provided to improve an optical property and durability. CONSTITUTION: A polarizer which is an iodine-carbon nanotube complex in which iodine is inserted into a carbon nanotube and a polyvinyl alcohol film are provided. The polyvinyl alcohol film is soaked in water solution including the iodine. The polyvinyl alcohol film is dyed. The polyvinyl alcohol film with the iodine is extended.
