SYMMETRIC SERRATED EDGE LIGHT GUIDE FILM HAVING ELLIPTICAL BASE SEGMENTS

PURPOSE: A symmetric serration type of edge light guide film with oval base segments is provided to increase an incidence angle penetrated through a light guide film. CONSTITUTION: A plane light guide film(12) receives and guides light from a point light source. A side surface in the light guide film next to an LED(14) forms a light incidence surface(12a). An upper surface forms a light emitting surface(12b). A lower surface of an opposite side of the light emitting surface forms a light reflecting surface(12c).
