PURPOSE: A strip transfer apparatus is provided to prevent damage to side guide units due to collisions against strip by correcting the transfer direction of the strip. CONSTITUTION: A strip transfer apparatus comprises a plurality of transfer roller units(100) which transfer strip rolled by a rolling machine, side guide units(200) which are located at the top of the transfer rollers and guide the transfer of the strip, electromagnet units(400) which are located between the transfer rollers, are allowed to move, and create electromagnetic power, and unit drivers(600) which are coupled with the electromagnets and control the positions of the electromagnets depending on the transfer direction of the strip. The electromagnet units comprise a housing, an electromagnet, and a ball bearing installed at the top of the electromagnet in order to have a gap between the strip and the electromagnet.
