PURPOSE: A device for testing a steel piece detecting device is provided to test a steel piece detection device rapidly, stably, and accurately and to perform a detection test with respect to steel pieces of various height. CONSTITUTION: A device for testing a steel piece detecting device comprises a fixing unit(10), a driving unit(20), a rotating unit(30), and a support unit(40). The fixing unit is installed on a fixture such as the ground. The driving unit is joined to the fixing unit and rotates the rotating unit by generating torque. The rotating unit is rotated by the torque of the driving unit and connected to the driving unit, thereby being arranged to be closed to the steep piece detecting device. The supporting unit is joined to the fixing unit and supports the rotating unit.
