<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasoline composition compounded with a gasoline base material high in the content of a high octane number component by FT reaction, and to provide a method for producing the gasoline composition. <P>SOLUTION: The gasoline composition compounded with 1-60 vol.% of the gasoline fraction of a product obtained by Fischer-Tropsch (FT) reaction from a gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide as main components in the presence of a hydrocarbon production catalyst composition comprising one or more metals exhibiting activity in the Fischer-Tropsch (FT) reaction, manganese carbonate, and zeolite exhibiting a solid acid, wherein the content of the zeolite in the catalyst composition is ≥30 and ≤65 mass%, wherein (a) the research octane number is ≥98 and <103; (b) the motor octane number is ≥85 and <92; (c) the aromatic compound content is 15-45 vol.%; (d) the content of olefins is at most 40 vol.%; (e) the benzene content is at most 1 vol.%; (f) the sulfur content is at most 10 mass ppm; (g) the naphthene content is 2-15 vol.%; and (h) the Reid vapor pressure is 44-65 kPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
