<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect an edge in a captured image even when a blur or a shake is generated in the image. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 100 calculates an edge evaluation value indicating a degree of a blur or a shake of an edge in an image indicating a subject imaged by an imaging element 3, selects a band limit filter having wider band filter characteristics as the degree of a blur or a shake indicated by the calculated edge evaluation value is greater, performs multi-resolution processing on the image using the selected band limit filter, and determines an edge evaluation value of the image subjected to the multi-resolution processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
