<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide device and method of straightening a part of the coil tip deteriorated in steel strip shape when rewinding a steel strip coil by a pay-off reel without manual operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the device for straightening tip shape of steel strip coil, a leveling roll (6) that a plurality of rolls are arranged in a zigzag form under the pay-off reel (1) rewinding the steel strip coil (7) so as to vertically thread a steel strip (8) and to reduce inter-mesh (rolling reduction of the roll) of right and left roll groups more on the upper side than on the lower side and the uppermost arranged roll in the plurality of rolls allows depression release of the roll by itself. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
