<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide intra-prediction technology of a luminance signal and a color difference signal, which correspond to a color difference format. <P>SOLUTION: A second encoding bit string decoding section 203 continuously decodes information on an intra-luminance prediction mode of a prediction block of a luminance signal and information on an intra-color difference prediction mode of the prediction block of the color difference signal from an encoding string which includes, in series, information on the intra-luminance prediction mode of the prediction block of the luminance signal, and information on the intra-color difference prediction mode of the prediction block of the color difference signal in the same reference position as the prediction block of the luminance signal. An intra-prediction section 206 intra-predicts the color difference signal on the basis of the decoded intra-color difference prediction mode in the prediction block unit of the intra-prediction of the color difference signal in a minimum decoding block which is set in accordance with the color difference format if a division mode for horizontally and vertically dividing the luminance signal is set when the image signal is intra-predicted in the previously set minimum decoding block unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
