<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which can prevent the incomplete fitting of a flat cable while improving fitted-state holding force irrespective of the number of conductors of the flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: A connector 1 comprises: a housing 8 into which a terminal of a flat cable 2 is inserted; a terminal fitting housed in the housing 8; and lock parts which are locked to the housing 8 with a cable width direction Y1 of the flat cable 2 defined between each other. Each of the lock parts includes: a holding portion which is held by the housing 8; a locking plate 24 provided with a locking protrusion 24a which is inserted and locked to a locking recess 6 arranged at an end in the cable width direction of the flat cable 2; and an elastic connection portion which displaces the locking plate 24 in a thickness direction Y3 of the flat cable 2 by connecting a holding plate and the locking plate 24 to each other and elastically deforming them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
