摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in melting point of a slag caused by Cr<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>produced by oxidation of Cr in a steel and to promote a dephosphorizing reaction while maintaining flowability when dephosphorizing a Cr-containing steel without using any fluorite. <P>SOLUTION: A method for refining a molten steel in an electric furnace comprises refining the molten steel containing 1.0-2.0% Cr by, in a dissolving phase, adding a recarburizer so that the sum of C mass in scraps and the recarburizer becomes 8.0-14.0 kg/t, adding a Si-containing ferroalloy so that the sum of Si mass in the scraps and the ferroalloy becomes 6.0-10 kg/t and adding a CaO source so that the degree of basicity after desiliconization reaches 1.5-3.0 and that the CaO content in the CaO source becomes 20 kg/t or higher, and, in a dephosphorization phase, adding 6.0-12.0 kg/t Na<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O and 3.0-4.5 Nm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>/t oxygen source calculated in terms of gaseous oxygen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
