<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing for achieving lower torque and improving the resistance to the entry of foreign matters into the bearing by reducing a variation in the pushing force with the interference of a seal lip part and stably loading the pushing force to ensure wear of the seal lip part. <P>SOLUTION: At least a front end portion 11 is formed of a highly wearing material to wear when using the bearing in the rotating condition and come in no contact or in such slight contact that contacting pressure is considered to be zero. The seal lip part 9 includes a base end portion 10 extending from a seal member body 8, and the front end portion 11 protruded from an axial portion at the front edge 10a of the base end portion 10 to contact an inner ring 1. A seal lip waist-width (L2) as the axial thickness of the base end portion 10 is greater than a radial length (a) of the seal lip part 9 ranging from a front end side peripheral edge 6s of a core metal 6 to the frontmost end of the front end portion 11.
