<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand for temporarily placing a lid of a pot, against which a lid in any size and shape can be temporarily propped, on which kitchen chopsticks can be put and which is compact and is easy to carry. <P>SOLUTION: A lid holder 1 are formed by bending several metal rods into circular arcs and at a predetermined inclination angle. Their support rods 1c are joined to a base 2 which is provided with water receiving parts 3 and anti-skid parts 4. Holding parts 1b of the lid holder 1 hold the lid 5 of the pot. The lid 5 of the pot is supported by supporting parts 1a and is placed on a slant. The kitchen chopsticks 7 are placed on the holding parts 1b on the other side. Water droplets on the lid 5 of the pot are collected in the water receiving parts 3.
