<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picking system improving work efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The picking system 1 includes storage racks 11, 12, 15 for storing articles. The picking system 1 further includes a cart 9 storing an article picked by a primary picking worker A, and a pair of gates 8 for setting the cart 9. Each gate 8 has an instruction unit issuing picking instructions to a secondary picking worker B. Both of the gates 8 are mutually separated and opposed across a working space of the secondary picking worker B.
