BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION REGISTRATION METHOD, BIOLOGICAL INFORMATION REGISTRATION PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometric authentication system having a function of previously excluding biological information having been determined to be misidentified at a high rate when newly registering biological information.

SOLUTION: A biological information registration method includes: a biological information readout step of reading out first biological information as biological information on a person to be authenticated; a biological information registration step of extracting a plurality of first feature points from the read first biological information, and converting the first feature points into values of respective components of a predetermined coordinate system; a similarity calculation step of finding similarities by components between the values of the respective components of the plurality of first feature points after the conversion and values of respective components of a plurality of second feature points of a biological information storage part which stores the plurality of second feature points that a plurality of pieces of second biological information to be compared have respectively as values of components of the predetermined coordinate system; and a similarity evaluation step of registering the first biological information in the biological information storage part only when it is determined that the calculated similarities by the components do not satisfy thresholds which are preset by the components.
