摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving object tracking device which can precisely capture a direction of a point separated by a predetermined length in a movement direction of a moving object with respect to a point of the moving object being tracked. <P>SOLUTION: A moving object tracking device comprises: an image pickup unit for picking up an image of a moving object; a drive mechanism part for driving the image pickup unit so as to capture the moving object in a visual field of the image pickup unit and for outputting a sensor signal for its directional angle and travel speed; an image processing unit for calculating a coordinate on an imaging picture of a tracking point on the moving object on the basis of image data acquired by the image pickup unit and for calculating a tracking error from a difference between a tracking original coordinate representing a coordinate on the imaging picture of a visual axis direction or a track-based direction of the image pickup unit and the tracking point of the moving object; a control processing unit for generating a drive signal for driving the drive mechanism unit and calculating a visual axis angle velocity of the image pickup unit, on the basis of the tracking error obtained by the image processing unit and the sensor signal from the drive mechanism part; and a reference point tracking angle calculation part for calculating a reference point tracking angle of tracking a reference point separated by a predetermined length in a movement direction of the moving object from the tracking point on the moving object, on the basis of the visual axis angle velocity obtained by the control processing unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
