PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the antenna operation, by providing a plurality of antenna elements possible for switching of the directivity and performing automatic switching operation so as to minimize the noise component in a component in a composite video signal of a television receiver. CONSTITUTION:A full output of a plurality of antenna elements 9 in which the directivity is changed with selection is applied to a switching circuit 10. The circuit 10 consists of an electronic switch group, driven with a control circuit 12, sequentially selects the output of the antenna elements 9 and is applied to the receiver 11. The noise component including ghosts in a composite video signal detected at the receiver 11 is detected at an optimum point detection circuit 13, a DC voltage corresponding to the noise component is obtained, a signal is given to the control circuit 12 when the DC voltage is minimized to fix the selective operation of the switching circuit 10. |
