Electrical switching device

The electrical switching device is used for switching and controlling electrical apparatuses. It comprises a carrier board which is provided with conductor tracks and has a switching unit and/or an illumination unit whose power connections are mounted on the conductor tracks. In order to be able to produce the switching device as completely automatically as possible, the power connections of the switching unit and/or illumination unit are of flat construction and lie in a plane which is arranged parallel to the plane of the conductor tracks.
