PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the rotation failure of a roller cutter.

SOLUTION: Provided is a roller cutter 10 for a shield excavator provided with a bit 34 in the outer peripheral portion of a rotating wheel part 32. In the outer peripheral portion of the wheel part 32, plural fins 36 projecting to a position on the inner diameter side of the wheel part 32 relative to the cutting edge are provided with an interval in the rotation direction of the wheel part 32.
