<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide combustion equipment that can prevent the use of fuel oil remaining in a fixed tank over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: When power supply to a body device 1 becomes unable to be detected, counting is started by a period clocking means 48, and when power supply can be detected again, the quantity of fuel oil in a fixed tank 17 is detected by an oil quantity sensor 18. When fuel oil remains in the fixed tank 17, it determines whether a period of counting is equal to or more than a predetermined period, and when the period of counting is equal to or more than the predetermined period, all switch operations on an operation part 3 are disabled, the start of a heating operation is inhibited, and an operator is informed to exchange the fuel oil in the fixed tank 17 with voice via a speaker 49.
