<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor that prevents contact (short circuit) of parts of wiring with a simple configuration and in a space-saving manner and that provides good cooling. <P>SOLUTION: A DC motor includes: an armature core 31, windings 32, a flat-type commutator 33, and brushes. The armature core 31 is provided rotatably with respect to a stator, and has a plurality of teeth 31a that extend radially and are arranged circumferentially. The windings 32 are wound around the respective teeth 31a. The flat-type commutator 33 is provided so as to be rotatable together with the armature core 31. The commutator 33 has a plurality of segments 34 that are arranged circumferentially and are connected electrically to the respective windings 32. The brushes are held with respect to the stator, and are pressed into contact with the segments 34. The commutator 33 has guide fins 51 that separately guide equalizing connectors 41, as part of wiring including the windings 32, and winding connecting portions 43 of the windings 32 and that also blow air along with the rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
