<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print with high added value by controlling glossiness of an image surface in a printer controller for use in an image forming apparatus including a high-gloss transparent image forming section that forms a high-gloss transparent toner image having a higher gloss than that of the color toner image, and a low-gloss transparent image forming section that forms a low-gloss transparent toner image having a lower gloss than that of the color toner image, and capable of forming a color toner image. <P>SOLUTION: The printer controller includes: a glossiness estimation part 13 for estimating a gloss value of a color toner image for each pixel on the basis of the total amount of each color toner used per pixel and outputting it as an estimated gloss value CLp; and a latent image forming signal generating/outputting part 14 that accepts an instruction gloss value CLi instructing a degree of glossiness of an image surface, and that generates and outputs a latent image forming signal CLh1 for forming a high-gloss transparent image and a latent image forming signal CLh2 for forming a low-gloss transparent image on the basis of the instruction gloss value CLi and the estimated gloss value CLp such that the print result become the instruction gloss value CLi. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
