<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet high-speed cutting apparatus capable of high-speed cutting, having a compact structure and hardly failing. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet high-speed cutting apparatus includes: incoming-side nip rolls 1 arranged on the incoming side of a traveling sheet S; outgoing-side nip rolls 2 arranged on the outgoing side; and a cutting part 3 arranged between the incoming-side nip rolls 1 and the outgoing-side nip rolls 2. The cutting part 3 includes a plate-like cutting blade 5 mounted to a rotary shaft 4. The cutting blade 5 is configured such that its cutting edge swings along the traveling direction of the sheet S during cutting. When the rotary shaft 4 is rotated in a state of applying tension in the traveling direction to the sheet S while holding the traveling sheet S between the incoming side nip rolls 1 and the outgoing side nip rolls 2, the cutting blade 5 is also rotated to cut the sheet S. Since the cutting blade 5 is rotated along the traveling direction of the sheet S, the sheet S can be cut without disturbing the travel of the sheet S to attain high speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
