<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor facilitated in determining to what portion of hollow viscera a virtual endoscope image corresponds, or to what each portion of the hollow viscera in a developed image corresponds. <P>SOLUTION: The medical image processor 1 creates the developed image from a medical image information (S11), extracts a protruding area from the developed image (S12), calculates the density of the protruding part area in each part area of the developed image (S15), determines the portion of a large intestine corresponding to respective part areas based on the density of the protruding area (S17), and colors the respective part areas to display the developed image (S18). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
