<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens being compact and low-cost, and achieving a wide angle and high optical performance. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging lens comprises substantially five lenses including a first lens L1 having a meniscus shape with a convex surface facing the object side and having a negative power, a second lens L2 having a negative power, a third lens L3 having a positive power, an aperture stop, a fourth lens L4 having a positive power, and a fifth lens L5 having a negative power. The first to fifth lenses L1 to L5 each have at least one aspheric surface. The imaging lens satisfies predetermined conditional expressions related to a distance on the optical axis between an image side surface of the second lens L2 and an object side surface of the third lens L3, a focal length of the entire system, and a thickness of the fifth lens L5 on the optical axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
