<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water channel structure using ceramic panels instead of FRP plates and a modified panel construction method. <P>SOLUTION: A modified side wall is formed of: a number of rectangular ceramic panels 1 stretched on the side wall inner surface side of an existing U-shaped side ditch 5 (only one side thereof is shown in Figure) with a clearance therebetween; a number of stainless all-anchors 2 for fixing the ceramic panels 1 at three positions in a vertical direction for each panel on the existing side ditch 5; and a panel adhesive 3 poured into and filled in the clearance between the side wall inner surface side of the existing side ditch 5 and the ceramic panels 1. Furthermore, a modified top surface is formed of a number of ceramic cap pieces 4 stretched on the side wall top surface of the existing side ditch 5 with a clearance therebetween; a number of stainless all-anchors 2 for stretching the ceramic cap pieces; and the panel adhesive 3 poured into and filled in the clearance between the side wall top surface of the existing side ditch 5 and the ceramic cap pieces 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
