The sprayer has a production unit for producing a fuel gas and air mixture at high displacement speed. Upstream and downstream grills (6, 7) are placed transversely in a path of the mixture. The mixture is ignited between the grills by an ignition unit, where the mixture is directed into a conduit (17). A straight venturi (2) has a main axis coaxial to axes of the grills and the conduit. Length of the venturi is strongly reduced with respect to a flow of gas injected in a ratio ranging between 0.15 and 0.3 when length is expressed in mm and the flow of gas is expressed in grams per hour.
