BATTERY MODULE ASSEMBLY AND BATTERY PACK COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A battery module assembly is provided to have a compact structure where the assembly can be stably mounted in a minimum space and to increase assembly efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A battery module assembly(800) comprises a plurality of rectangular battery modules(300a-300i), in which a plurality of unit cells or modules are connected to each other in series, laminated in a longitudinal direction(y) and/or a widthwise direction(z) and forms a hexagonal laminate structure overall. The rectangular battery modules are arranged for the longitudinal direction thereof to be parallel with the ground. The hexagonal laminate has a structure in which at least two or more battery modules are faced to each other in the longitudinal direction of the battery module.
