The spring (4) has an arcuate screw axle arranged in an arc-shaped channel (3) that is formed between an input side and an output side of a dual mass flywheel or a torsional vibration damper. Windings comprising large and small diameters are arranged at a side of the axle in a virtual circular cylinder surface whose cylinder axis comprises curvature center of the axle, where the windings are arranged in a predetermined sequence. The windings with small diameter are arranged between the windings with large diameter, where the windings with large diameter are formed as end windings.
