The device (80) is characterised in that: the writing tablet comprises a frame; the active surface is disposed in the frame; and the device includes processing means (84) configured to subject the data set corresponding to the digital trace (T2) to at least one processing step in order to obtain a transformed trace (T3) and writing reproduction means (86) comprising an apparatus provided with a marking tool (87) and configured to reproduce the set of data processed by the processing means (84) by marking the transformed trace (T3) on a substrate (90).
