LED DRIVING CIRCUIT AND LED ILLUMINATION DEVICE

PURPOSE: An LED driving circuit and an LED lighting installation using thereof are provided to control the current flows of multiple LEDs through detecting currents with a current detection circuit and controlling the on and off of switch elements. CONSTITUTION: A rectifier circuit(DB) outputs pulsating current by full-wave rectifying alternating current from AC power supply(E). A series circuit is installed between the anode terminal and cathode terminal of the rectifier circuit. The series circuit includes a diode(D6) connected between multiple LEDs. A switch elements(Q1, Q2) are connected between the anodes of the rectifier circuit and the LED, and between the cathodes of the rectifier circuit and the LED. The switch elements switch the current outputted from the rectifier circuit. A current detection circuit(R8) detects currents flowing in multiple LEDs. A control circuit performs on-off control of the switch elements according to the detected current by the current detection circuit.
