<p>The present invention provides an interior material which has flame-retardant performance that is rated as acceptable in each of the burn test as provided for in the Airworthiness Standards in appendix F4-10-2 of part 3, supervised by the Airworthiness Division, Engineering Department, Civil Aviation Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan, the burn test in FMVSS-302 of the United States Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for interior materials, and the burn test for railway rolling stock materials as provided for in Ordinance No.83 of the Engineering Planning Division, Railway Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan. The interior material is configured by applying, to an interior fabric, a water-based resin composition that contains a water-compatible urethane resin and thiourea as essential components. As the water-compatible urethane resin, which is an essential component of the water-based resin composition, any of the following is used: water-soluble polyurethanes, water-soluble urethane prepolymers, water-dispersible polyurethanes, and water-dispersible urethane prepolymers. To regulate the thiourea amount to 50 parts by weight (P.H.R.) or more per 100 parts by weight of the water-compatible urethane resin is effective.</p> |
