The invention relates to a method and a system for transmitting data in a motor vehicle by means of a wireless communication. The data from a first transmitting data node (2) is divided, transmitted to a second receiving data node (3) via at least two different communication routes (a, b, c), and reassembled upon being received. The aim of the invention is to improve data security. This is achieved in that redundant data (7, 7a, 7b) is generated from the data (6, 6a, 6b, 6c) to be transmitted, said redundant data allowing a reconstruction of the data (6, 6a, 6b, 6c) to be transmitted in the event that a communication route (a, b, c) fails. Said redundant data (7, 7a, 7b) and the data (6, 6a, 6b, 6c) to be transmitted are transmitted via the different communication routes. |
