PURPOSE: A steel-making slag modifier and an injection method thereof are provided to easily inject the steel-making slag modifier to the bottom of molten steel without influence of slag or air because the steel-making slag modifier is made into a core steel wire protected with a steel shell. CONSTITUTION: A method for injecting a steel-making slag modifier comprises the steps of: preparing a mixture of 30-50 wt.% of Al chips and 50-70 wt.% of CaO; charging and compacting the mixture in a cored steel wire with a thickness of 0.1-1.0 mm and an inner diameter of 10-20 mm; winding a steel-making slag modifier around a drum; and unwinding the steel-making slag modifier from the drum and injecting the steel-making slag modifier with a wire feeding method.
