<p>A subsidence construction between a gas take-off point, such as a gas meter, provided in a building (2), and a gas pipe (1) accommodated in a substrate (3), comprises a branch piece (9) connected to the gas pipe, a connection pipe piece (10) fed into the building, and also a compensation means (8) between the two pipe pieces. The compensation means (8) consists of a chamber (13) which is connected to one (9) of the pipe pieces, and also a pipe piece (14), of which an inner end (20) is located in the chamber, and of which an outer end (19) projects from the chamber. The pipe piece (14) is slidable in a sealing manner in relation to the chamber (13) in the longitudinal direction of that pipe piece and is connected to the other pipe piece (10), in such a way that subsidence differences between the gas pipe and the building can be compensated.</p> |
