The glass article may comprise: a glass body with convex-concave and/or via hole structures formed on at least a part of periphery of the glass body; a plastic layer adhered to the periphery of the glass body with adhesive coated therebetween. The plastic layer may be adhered to the glass body via the convex-concave and/or via hole structures. A method of forming the glass article as described above is also provided.</p>
