The present invention provides methods and apparatus for converting a single phase power supply source into a three phase power supply source. The single phase power supply source is utilized as a first output of the three phase power supply source, while the second and third outputs of the three phase power supply source are created utilizing part of the single phase power supply source combined with a phase shifting inverting circuit.
