PURPOSE: A water permeable block and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to keep water in pores and to reduce a heat island effect. CONSTITUTION: A method for a water permeable block comprises: a step of classifying particle size of pottery stone and feldspar at 20-75 mesh; a step of mixing 35-45 wt% of pottery stone, 30-40 wt% of feldspar, 5-15 wt% of kaolin, 5-10 wt% of sludge, 1-2 wt% of sodium silicate, and water; a step of pressing and molding the mixture in a frame; and a step of heating and plasticizing the mold at 1150-1200 Deg.C.
