<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves providing a voltage pulse to a coil (114) based on a control signal to influence a position of an actuator. The coil is impinged with an electric signal to change the electromagnetic field of the coil and the actuator. A mutual induction in the coil is determined to ascertain the position of the actuator.
