<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a performance effect on read-ahead by executing, while limiting an execution period of read-ahead performance, a characteristic performance which can be attained by the limitation. <P>SOLUTION: The pinball game machine is configured to extract a random number as a result of entrance of a game ball to a start pocket provided on a game board; to hold and store the random number; to execute propriety determination for transfer to a special game advantageous to a player based on holding storages; to perform read-ahead determination on holding storages prior to the propriety determination; and to perform a read-ahead performance for the probability of winning. A condition determination means determines whether a predetermined condition is established according to the progress of the game, and when the condition is established, a read-ahead limiting mode is set. A period measuring means measures and limits the mode period of the read-ahead limiting mode, and a read-ahead performance change means changes, during the read-ahead limiting mode, the read-ahead performance so as to reduce the number of the object holding storages according to the passage of the period measured by the period measuring means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
