<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio communication device, radio transmission system and radio transmission control method, capable of easily generating optimal rank information, by absorbing differences in radio transmission characteristics dependent on reception algorithm types. <P>SOLUTION: Based on the reception result of a reference signal RS exchanged between a user device 10 and a radio base station 20, a plurality of eigenvalues λ of a correlation matrix of a MIMO channel matrix indicative of the radio transmission characteristics of the MIMO channel between the user device and the radio base station is calculated. Also, based on the reception result of the reference signal RS, an interference noise level σ<SP POS="POST">2</SP>in the MIMO channel is estimated. Based on the estimation result of the interference noise level σ<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, a threshold β is set. Based on the comparison result between the plurality of eigenvalues λ and the threshold β, rank information RI, which indicates the number of transmission layers for use in data transmission and reception in the MIMO channel, is generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
