PURPOSE: A contact lens for watching a stereoscopic image is provided to locate a filter inside, thereby preventing exposure of a harmful chemical material. CONSTITUTION: A contact lens comprises a left eye lens and a right eye lens. The left eye lens includes a left eye filter(105L). The right eye lens includes a right eye filter(105R). The left eye filter includes a first quarter wave plate(401), a first linear polarizer(402) and a substrate(410). The first quarter wave plate delays a phase value of light passing through a patterned retarder of a display panel up to a fourth of a wavelength in a positive direction. The first linear polarizer passes through only vertical linear polarized light among light passing through the first quarter wave plate. The right eye filter includes a second quarter wave plate(501), a second linear polarizer(502) and a substrate(510). The second quarter wave plate delays the phase value of the light passing through the patterned retarder of the display panel up to the fourth of the wavelength in a negative direction. The second linear polarizer passes through only vertical linear polarized light among the light passing through the second quarter wave plate. |
