<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large-sized windmill employing an outer ring which has been thought to be difficult to be used in a large-sized windmill hitherto, and high in operation stability, in the large-sized horizontal shaft type windmill for wind power generation. <P>SOLUTION: The outer ring 2R is attached to the tip of each blade 2B so as to be slackly operable in the radial direction of the windmill 20, and the blades 2B... are prevented from being transmitted with deformation stress from the outer ring which is deformed by a centrifugal force. Furthermore, support rollers 3R, 3R for supporting the outer ring 2R from below are arranged in the vicinity of an immediately-lower part of a hub 2H, a deformed portion which is hung down by the own weight of the outer ring 2R is supported, and a weight load of the outer ring 2R is prevented from being concentrated on a base of the blade 2B in a specified position as a moment load.
